Pick-a-Tom tomatoes are great as a snack or as seasoning in a fresh salad. 

 

Tip: Toasted bread with olive paste and Pick-a-Tom tomatoes.


Supllies


1 clove of garlic, 100 gr. pitted olives 2 anchovy fillets, 1 tablespoon capers, 1 / 2 deciliter olive oil, freshly ground pepper, 1 pre baked baguette, a little parsley and 10 Pick-a-Tom tomatoes.

 

Peel the garlic and chop it coarsely. Put the olives with garlic, anchovy fillets and capers in a food processor and puree everything to a coarse paste. Mix in the olive oil. Season the olive paste with pepper. Preheat the grill. Cut the baguette into slices about 1 / 2 cm thick. Spread the bread slices on the grill plate and slide it about 5cm under the hot grill. Toast the slices in about 1 minutes until they are golden brown. Turn them halfway if necessary. Cut the tomatoes into wedges. Spread the toasted slices with olive paste and place them on a plate. Garnish the bread with slices of tomatoes and a some parsley.

Tip: Pick-a-Tom Tomatoes with basil and mozzarella.

 

Supllies:


12 Pick-a-Tom tomatoes, 1 mozzarella cheese , 24 small or 12 large basil leaves, 12 cocktail skewers, salt and pepper.

 

Cut the mozzarella cheese into 12 equal pieces. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half. Wash the basil leaves and cut them down if necessary. Put the ingredients on a cocktail skewer in the following order: tomato, basil, mozzarella, basil, tomato. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. You can also sprinkle some olive oil over it.
